Reminiscence

“Don't look back.”

In a near-future Miami where rising seas have flooded the streets, Nick Bannister (Hugh Jackman) runs a business that lets clients relive any memory they choose. Then Mae (Rebecca Ferguson) walks in, and what starts as a simple case of a lost item becomes a love affair, until another client's memories tie her to violent crimes. Lisa Joy's debut turns on how people cling to the past, and how much of it they will pay to go back into.
