Renaissance Man

“One man's mission to teach the few, the proud... The impossible!”

Why would the Army send a fired Detroit advertising man to teach thinking skills to its recruits? Bill Rago (Danny DeVito) takes the job because the unemployment office has nothing else, and he finds an Army base with no classroom plan, no curriculum, and Sergeant Cass (Gregory Hines) watching him. Penny Marshall follows Bill as he faces a room of uneducated recruits, a man who once sold ideas now left with no ideas to offer them.
