Rendez-vous

Nina (Juliette Binoche) comes to Paris as a young actress with no work yet, and she takes up with three men almost at once. One is a mild real-estate agent who offers her a steady life, another an actor (Wadeck Stanczak) who lives close to the edge. André Téchiné puts her opposite Scrutzler (Jean-Louis Trintignant), the intense director casting her in Romeo and Juliet, and as opening night nears, Nina feeds each of those loves into her acting.
