Rendition

“What if someone you love... just disappeared?”

Isabella Fields El-Ibrahimi (Reese Witherspoon) is a pregnant American woman waiting at Washington's arrivals gate for her Egyptian husband, who never steps off his flight from Africa. Gavin Hood follows her through the capital while a CIA analyst, Douglas Freeman (Jake Gyllenhaal), is drawn into the same case. Her phone calls go unreturned, and the official answers come back as flat as the gate's empty board.
