“Time stopped in its tracks... when she pulled the trigger!”

On New Year's Eve 1946, Sheila Page (Joan Leslie) shoots her husband Barney (Louis Hayward), then wishes she could live the whole year over again. The wish comes true, and Alfred L. Werker puts her back at the start of 1946 with the same marriage and the same mistakes waiting for her. Sheila knows exactly where each one leads, but knowing it does not make her any better at stopping them.
