Reservation Road

“To find the truth you have to find who's hiding it.”

A summer evening on a quiet Connecticut road ends with a hit-and-run that kills the young son of Ethan Learner (Joaquin Phoenix) and Grace Learner (Jennifer Connelly). The driver is Dwight Arno (Mark Ruffalo), another father, who keeps driving. Terry George follows both households through what comes after, with Dwight and Ethan drawing closer to each other and the truth, and with a family's grief and a stranger's secret both at risk of breaking open.
