Restless

“Who do you live for?”

Enoch Brae (Henry Hopper) goes to strangers' funerals, and he is not alone there: his only company is Hiroshi (Ryo Kase), a friend nobody else can see. At one of those services he meets Annabel Cotton (Mia Wasikowska), who stops to ask why he came. Gus Van Sant films them in Portland, two outsiders trying a first love on, and Enoch keeps showing up for her the same way he shows up for the dead.
