Segundo (Júnior Béjar), fourteen, keeps quiet about what he has learned of his father, Noé (Amiel Cayo), the respected artisan who is teaching him to build altarpieces. They live in a village high in the Peruvian mountains with his mother, Anatolia (Magaly Solier), and the work passes from father to son one small, careful figure at a time. Alvaro Delgado Aparicio, in his first feature, follows a boy who has chosen silence and is learning how much of it he can carry.
