Retreat

“No neighbours. No help. No escape.”

Kate (Thandiwe Newton) and Martin (Cillian Murphy) have come to a remote island retreat to get away from a personal tragedy, and they keep the place and each other at arm's length. Then a man (Jamie Bell) washes ashore, bringing word of an airborne disease sweeping Europe. Carl Tibbetts, in his first film as director, leaves the two of them with their grief and with a stranger they can't prove either way.
