Return to Montauk

Max Zorn (Stellan Skarsgård) is a writer in his early sixties, in New York on a promotional tour for his latest book. Volker Schlöndorff follows him to a reunion with Rebecca (Nina Hoss), the woman he never managed to forget, and the weekend they spend together after seventeen years. Max walks the city with her, the book tour still waiting on his calendar, and a past that has not stopped asking him questions.
