Rhinegold

Giwar Hajabi (Emilio Sakraya) comes to Germany as a small boy in the mid-1980s, out of an Iraqi jail and into a family with nothing, starting at the bottom. Fatih Akin follows his climb from petty crime to major dealing, and a missing shipment that leaves him owing the cartel. It's a story about how far a person will push to escape the place he was put, and what that pushing takes from him.
