Rider on the Rain

“Who will he terrorise... Who will he attack... Who will be his next victim ?”

A stranger is waiting on the French coast who knows what Mellie Mau (Marlène Jobert) did to the man who attacked her, though she has told no one and hidden the body herself. He is Colonel Harry Dobbs (Charles Bronson), an American who arrives with his own purpose, and it seems to run through her absent husband. René Clément keeps Mellie and Dobbs circling, and each can only guess what the other is hiding.
