Rifkin's Festival

“A romance... but most of all, it's a mystery”

Mort Rifkin (Wallace Shawn) flies to the San Sebastián Film Festival with his wife Sue (Gina Gershon), who handles publicity for the French director Philippe (Louis Garrel). Woody Allen lets Mort drift through screenings and seaside streets while Sue's attention goes to Philippe, and a Spanish doctor, Jo Rojas (Elena Anaya), begins to hold his. Mort is left alone with the festival, the movies running in his head, and the Spanish coast around him.
