Rigor Mortis

“The Dead Will Rise.”

Chin Siu-Ho (Chin Siu-Ho), a washed-up actor, moves into a decaying apartment block intending to end his life, and is pulled back by Yau (Anthony Chan Yau), a Taoist priest who once hunted hopping vampires. Elsewhere in the building, a widow goes to a black magic specialist to bring her husband back. Juno Mak's film is a tribute to the Mr. Vampire series, and it treats grief as a loss a person can refuse to bury.
