Ring of Bright Water

(1969)Directed by Jack Couffer107 min · GDrama, Family
“The stars, the warmth, the pleasure of Born Free.”

Graham Merrill (Bill Travers) is stuck in a dead-end job when he brings home an otter named Mij, and the two of them are soon bound for an isolated village in western Scotland. Jack Couffer follows them along the seaside, where the doctor Mary MacKenzie (Virginia McKenna) joins them and the three become inseparable. It is a story about what a person owes a wild animal that has chosen to live beside him.
