Blu (voice, Jesse Eisenberg) is a domesticated macaw living contentedly with his family in Rio de Janeiro when his wife Jewel (voice, Anne Hathaway) insists they venture into the Amazon to find her family. Deep in the jungle, a charismatic macaw named Roberto (voice, Miguel Ferrer) claims to be Jewel's long-lost father. As Blu tries to hold his place in this wild new world, the survival of his family and everything he knows hangs in the balance.
