Rio, I Love You

“Love happens everywhere. Some love stories only happen in Rio.”

Rio de Janeiro is the setting for ten short love stories, each set in a different neighborhood. Dona Fulana (Fernanda Montenegro), Leandro (Eduardo Sterblitch), Dorothy (Emily Mortimer) and Zé (Vincent Cassel) are among the people drawn into them, and the segments come from ten directors, José Padilha and Guillermo Arriaga among them. The film moves from one part of the city to the next, and the stories stay brief.
