“Witness the manhunt that changed the course of human history”

Clavius (Joseph Fiennes) is a Roman military tribune who carries out Pontius Pilate's (Peter Firth) orders without argument. Now Pilate wants a body found, because the rumor of a risen Messiah could set Jerusalem against Rome, and Kevin Reynolds sends Clavius through the city to question soldiers and witnesses. His young aide Lucius (Tom Felton) follows him from one account to the next, the only person who sees how the search is starting to wear on him.
