Ritual

“Older than Bones. Darker than Blood. Stronger than Science.”

Dr. Alice Dodgson (Jennifer Grey) is called to Jamaica to treat the brother of a wealthy man, and on the estate she finds a household where a mysterious illness is slowly consuming the people living in it. Avi Nesher sets her against a voodoo cult whose rites sit just beyond the edge of what her medical training can explain. The film is about a rational mind meeting a belief it cannot dismiss, and what happens when diagnosis fails.
