Ritual

“Terror in the woods.”

On a vacation somewhere that is deliberately never named as Indonesia, a man (Rio Dewanto) wakes up alone, with no sign of his wife and son. Joko Anwar, making his first film in English, sends him through the woods in a hurry to find them. What the film works at is the gap between a family holiday and the moment you realize you are not in control of where you are.
