“Another "two minutes"”

The Fujiya, a hundred-year-old inn in the quiet hills of Kyoto, sits above the Kibune river. Mikoto (Riko Fujitani) is standing at the water behind the building when she's called back to work, and two minutes later she's back at the river. Junta Yamaguchi sends the staff and guests through the same two minutes again and again, and the film finds its comfort in how the people there choose to spend them.
