River's Edge

“An unknown dead body left by the riverside leads them to sharing a secret and creating a distorted bond.”

High schooler Haruna Wakagusa (Fumi Nikaido) falls in with Yamada (Ryo Yoshizawa), a loner nobody else at school bothers with. Isao Yukisada, adapting Kyoko Okazaki's manga, pulls a model and a girl who loves him past all reason into the same small circle around Yamada. Haruna ends up between the two of them, bound to Yamada in a way none of them can explain to the others.
