Road to Bali

(1952)Directed by Hal Walker91 minComedy, Adventure, Music, Romance
“TOGETHER AGAIN!...in the BEST and FUNNIEST 'Road' Picture Yet!”

George Cochran (Bing Crosby) and Harold Gridley (Bob Hope), two song-and-dance men, leave Melbourne in a hurry to dodge a pair of marriage proposals. They sign on as divers and end up on an island on the way to Bali, where both go after the favours of Princess Lala (Dorothy Lamour). Hal Walker shoots the series' only Technicolor entry as a stage show, with the songs and gags played straight to the audience.
