“Witches are real!”

A boy arrives at a seaside hotel in 1967 and discovers it hosts a secret convention of witches. The Grand High Witch (Anne Hathaway) and her coven have sinister plans involving a potion that will transform children, and the boy must navigate their scheme with only his wits and his grandmother's (Octavia Spencer) protection. By the end, he learns that curses can be broken, and that having someone who believes in you is the real magic.
