Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves

“For the good of all men, and the love of one woman, he fought to uphold justice by breaking the law.”

Robin of Locksley (Kevin Costner) breaks out of a Jerusalem prison with the help of Azeem (Morgan Freeman), a Moorish prisoner who then follows him home to England. There Robin finds his father dead among the ruins of the family estate, killed on the orders of the Sheriff of Nottingham (Alan Rickman). Kevin Reynolds sends the two men into the forest to join Will Scarlett (Christian Slater) and the outlaws, with the whole kingdom in the sheriff's grip.
