“An Island Paradise... Or At Least It Used To Be”

Why is there an island in the south Pacific with room for two men who were never meant to be there? Stan (Stan Laurel) and Ollie (Oliver Hardy) wash up on it, marooned and far from anything familiar. Léo Joannon directs the team in their last film together, shot in France and Italy, and the two of them stay as loyal and as hopeless as ever.
