Sean Flynn (Callan McAuliffe) wants out of the house he has been confined to since the robots arrived, where leaving means being burned alive. Ben Kingsley plays Robin Smythe, a collaborator who serves the new rulers, and Gillian Anderson plays Kate, a woman trying to keep the household together. Jon Wright, working on a $21 million budget, builds the film as a British adventure shaped by these confined homes and the dread of stepping outside.
