Rocco and His Brothers

In 1960 Milan, the widow Rosaria Parondi (Katina Paxinou) arrives from the south with her five sons, poor and with nowhere settled to go. Luchino Visconti follows the family as the industrial north pulls them apart, one job and one lodging at a time.
