Clayton Poole (Jerry Lewis), a television repairman, is handed the newborn triplets of his old hometown sweetheart Carla Naples (Marilyn Maxwell), who has since become a famous movie star. He has to keep them fed, changed and out of sight so her career doesn't take the hit. Frank Tashlin, who wrote and directed, builds the whole household around Lewis and three babies in bright, busy comic set pieces.
