“The rousing, rollicking adventure of the world's first rockin' rooster!”

Chanticleer (Glen Campbell) is a farm rooster who believes his crowing is what lifts the sun each morning. Then the sun comes up without him, and he leaves in shame to sing rock 'n' roll in the city. Don Bluth mixes live action with animation as a boy named Edmond (Toby Scott Ganger), turned into a kitten by the Grand Duke (Christopher Plummer), joins the farm animals trying to bring Chanticleer home before the endless rain floods everything.
