“He's just taking up space!”

Fred Z. Randall (Harland Williams) is a clumsy, talkative computer engineer who talks his way onto the first NASA mission to Mars. Stuart Gillard puts him on the crew with Julie Ford (Jessica Lundy) and the veteran commander Wild Bill Overbeck (William Sadler), who has no patience for him. Fred is already breaking things aboard the ship, and the red planet is still a long way off.
