Rocks

Rocks (Bukky Bakray) comes home one day in Hackney to find her mother gone, and no word about where or for how long. She is fifteen, with a little brother, Emmanuel (D'Angelou Osei-Kissiedu), to feed, and a fear that anyone who finds out will split the two of them up. Sarah Gavron follows her through school and the days after, her friends Sumaya (Kosar Ali) and Roshé (Shaneigha-Monik Greyson) beside her, Rocks keeping her face easy while Emmanuel waits at home.
