Rodan

“Born from a volcanic crater, the crimson monster bird Rodan tramples the Earth”

Shigeru Kawamura (Kenji Sahara) is a mining engineer who works in a coal pit where his coworkers keep vanishing and turning up dead. When huge prehistoric nymphs crawl out of the shafts, he goes deeper underground to find what is behind it. Ishirō Honda follows the trail from the mine to Fukuoka, where two flying creatures converge and the city has nowhere to run.
