In Quito, Ecuador, Salvador (Marco Bustos) is a young, naive petty thief living in a household he can't wait to leave. His cousin Angel (Carlos Valencia) turns up an ex-convict hunting easy money, and Sebastián Cordero follows what happens when Salvador takes him in and starts running jobs at his side. Salvador wants out from under his family, and Angel's offer looks like the way, though it pulls his relatives and friends in too.
