“Empires are built on fear. Rebellions are built on hope.”

Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) has spent years on her own, hard to find and unwilling to be pulled into anyone's war. The Rebel Alliance finds her anyway, and sends her out with Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), his reprogrammed droid K-2SO (Alan Tudyk), and a ragged crew to steal the schematics for the Empire's Death Star. Gareth Edwards frames the fighting at ground level, among the soldiers, so a galaxy-wide war feels like a handful of people in the dirt.
