“He'll risk everything to beat the system.”

Nick Leeson (Ewan McGregor) is a young Barings Bank trader who wants to be somebody, and Singapore gives him his chance. A run of early wins makes him the bank's rising star, and he starts keeping a secret account numbered 88888. James Dearden, working from the true story of the 1995 collapse, shows how a man can pile up $1.4 billion in losses by refusing to admit the first small one.
