“When everyone gets silent, there are no innocents”

A stranger picks a fight with Claudio Morán (Darío Grandinetti), a successful lawyer, over a petty insult in a crowded restaurant in a provincial Argentine town in 1975. Benjamín Naishtat lets the argument spread into the town, where people he knows begin to vanish and nobody will say so aloud. Claudio and his wife Susana (Andrea Frigerio) go on with dinners and neighbors, and their quiet carries a weight neither of them names.
