Roller Boogie

“It's love on wheels!”

Terry Barkley (Linda Blair), a well-off young woman in Venice, Los Angeles, wants a life beyond her parents' plans, and she finds it on roller skates. She falls for Bobby James (Jim Bray), a working-class skater who spends his nights at the neighborhood rink. Mark L. Lester films the 1979 fad as it was, and Terry throws herself into the Boogie Contest, risking the family she comes from for the people she skates with.
