Rollercoaster

“Somewhere in the crowd is a killer who can turn smiles into screams.”

In 1977, an amusement park in Norfolk becomes the scene of a bombing when homemade explosives on a roller coaster track kill and injure its riders. A second attack in Pittsburgh follows, and then a tape reaches a meeting of park executives in Chicago, where a young man (Timothy Bottoms) demands $1 million to stop. Harry Calder (George Segal) gets pulled into the hunt alongside Agent Hoyt (Richard Widmark).
