“The fall of the Roman Empire 1931-1972.”

Young Fellini (Peter Gonzales Falcon) leaves Rimini for Rome wanting to take in the whole city at once, its past and its present. Federico Fellini, drawing on his own move there as a youth, strings together loosely connected episodes with no plot to hold them. A princess (Pia De Doses), a young prostitute (Fiona Florence) and a cardinal (Renato Giovannoli) pass through, gaudy and overcrowded, while Rome itself is the only one who changes.
