Romance & Cigarettes

Nick Murder (James Gandolfini), an ironworker with a wife and three daughters, takes up with Tula (Kate Winslet), a much younger woman, and Kitty (Susan Sarandon) throws him out of the house. John Turturro has the characters stop and sing along to records, so their worst moments come out as pop songs and show tunes. The marriage is still there under the shouting, and Nick and Kitty can't stop reaching for each other.
