Ronia: The Robber's Daughter

In a castle deep in a dark forest, the robber chieftain Mattis (Börje Ahlstedt) raises his daughter Ronia (Hanna Zetterberg) among his band, and she is happy there. Tage Danielsson follows her into the woods, where she meets Birk (Dan Håfström), the son of Borka (Per Oscarsson), her father's bitter rival, and the two roam past Witchbirds and Rump-Gnomes together. Once their fathers learn of it, they forbid the friendship, and the feud may take it from them.
