“The dog who gets no respect”

Rover (Rodney Dangerfield) is a street-smart dog who lives in Las Vegas with a showgirl, until her boyfriend dumps him off Hoover Dam. Directors James L. George and Bob Seeley send him to a quiet farm, where a city dog gets his first look at barns, open fields and country manners. Daisy (Susan Boyd) is among the animals who take him in, and Rover's wisecracks are still coming.
