Royal Flash

“See Capt. Harry Flashman surrender his way to victory!”

Captain Harry Flashman (Malcolm McDowell) is a coward and a cheat, and all he wants is a way into the royal circles of nineteenth-century Europe. His schemes keep failing until two devious nobles, among them Rudi Von Sternberg (Alan Bates), offer him a part: pass himself off as a Prussian prince and woo a duchess. Richard Lester sets the con between Flashman and Rudi, two men who need each other and trust each other not at all.
