Michelle Yip (Michelle Yeoh), a policewoman, gets word of a gang of violent terrorists and goes after them with her partner Michael Wong and Peter Yamamoto (Hiroyuki Sanada), a Japanese detective. David Chung stages the chases and fights at close range, with Bandana (Pai Ying) and Raging Bull (David Lam Wai) among the men they are hunting.
