Royal Wedding

“A story of a famed singing, dancing, brother and sister team!”

Tom Bowen (Fred Astaire) and his sister Ellen (Jane Powell) want one more hit for their stage act, and a booking in London in 1947 gives them the chance, timed to the Royal Wedding. Stanley Donen follows them through rehearsals, where Tom meets the dancer Anne Ashmond (Sarah Churchill) and Ellen meets John Brindale (Peter Lawford), a nobleman with little money. Underneath the songs, each learns they can love someone else without losing the other.
