Rubin & Ed

“As soon as Ed saves Rubin's life, he's gonna kill him.”

Rubin Farr (Crispin Glover) lives alone, wears a suit and a head of hair no one has ever talked him out of, and has no friends until Ed Tuttle (Howard Hesseman), a salesman who talks constantly and sells very little, offers him a ride. Trent Harris sends the two of them into the Utah desert with a dead cat that Rubin wants buried in the perfect spot. Under the road trip is a plain question of whether anyone is too strange to be kept company.
