Rudhramadevi

“The Warrior Queen”

In the Deccan, the Kakatiya dynasty is ruled by the emperor Ganapatideva, who has a daughter and no son. Through the ancient Putrika ceremony she is declared a boy and renamed Rudradeva, so that she can inherit the throne and answer the court that opposes her. Gunasekhar sets her beside Gona Ganna Reddy (Allu Arjun), whose loyalty to the ruler in disguise is tested by what he knows about her.
