“You can't escape a mother's love.”

Chloe Sherman (Kiera Allen) is a homeschooled teenager who uses a wheelchair and has barely left the house she shares with her mother, Diane (Sarah Paulson). Aneesh Chaganty keeps the camera close to Chloe and the house small around her. As Chloe starts to suspect Diane is hiding a dark secret about her upbringing, the one person she depends on becomes the person she has to get away from.
