Run Boy Run

An eight-year-old boy named Srulik (Kamil Tkacz) wants only to stay alive, so he slips out of the Warsaw ghetto in 1942 and into the woods beyond it. To survive among strangers he takes the name Jurek Staniak and tells everyone he is a Polish orphan, working as a farmhand wherever someone will have him. Pepe Danquart, adapting Uri Orlev's novel from the true story of Yoram Fridman, follows a child who has to remember his lie more carefully than his own name.
